Draft Cambridge Oval Master Plan

Community consultation on the draft Cambridge Oval Master Plan closed on 21 May 2023.

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback. You can view a copy of the draft master plan on the right-hand side of this page.

What's Next?

Council is reviewing the results of the community consultation on the draft Cambridge Oval Master Plan and considering what, if any, changes need to be made.

The most significant issue raised by the community was the need to ensure safe and orderly traffic movement and provide adequate car parking at the site, particularly for parents and carers dropping off and picking up children from Cambridge Primary School.

Council is working with Cambridge Primary School and the Department of Education to refine designs for parking and traffic movement, as well as other facilities that will be used by the school, including the proposed indoor gymnasium and outdoor basketball/multi-use hardcourt.

We expect to release a revised master plan for Cambridge Oval in August 2022 which incorporates the feedback we received.

In the meantime, if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact members of the project team listed on the right hand side of this page.
