Project Overview

As part of our commitment to improving health and wellbeing outcomes for residents, we are investigating the walkability (how ‘friendly’ an area is for pedestrians) of Rokeby and Lindisfarne to help improve the outcomes of our footpath repair program and investigate potential planning provisions to improve the walkability of future developments.

Project Information

We asked residents of Rokeby and Lindisfarne to provide their feedback on their favourite or regular walks by completing our Walkable Clarence Survey. Feedback received is being reviewed and walk scores are being assessed. Walk scores will then be used to improve the outcomes of our footpath repair program. Our findings will also be reviewed to determine potential planning provisions to improve the walkability of future developments.

This project has been funded by the Department of Health and Human Services.
