Living in Clarence: Community Survey


Background


Clarence City Council is undertaking a comprehensive, representative community survey partnering with a respected local research agency EMRS. This survey is to help better understand community perceptions. We want to understand living on the Eastern Shore as well as understanding the overall performance of Clarence City Council.

EMRS will be directly contacting residents and businesses across the community from late April until early June and you may receive a phone call or receive an email to invite you to contribute. We have completed the fieldwork for our resident survey and are now launching the business surveys.

We also want to ensure anyone else in the community who is interested in sharing their experiences and thoughts are able to do so through the online survey: [Survey - EMRS] The resident part of this survey is now closed for 2023 and please call or email us if you are interested in completing the Business survey (see Who's listening for contact details).

  • Resident Survey: Share opinions if contacted by EMRS or simply fill out our resident survey from late April to late May: Survey - EMRS (now closed for 2023)
  • Business Survey: Share opinions if contacted by EMRS for our Business Survey from late May until 14 June. Or contact us (see who's listening for contact details) directly and we can share an online link.
  • Next, results will be collated, and a summary will be shared with council and back to the community.
  • The feedback will also inform strategy development for our Communications, Engagement and Customer Experience Strategies and improve our understanding of what matter to our community. These results will both inform the strategies and help to determine community KPIs to monitor progress.
