Rosny Park Urban Design Framework Consultation

Consultation has concluded

Project overview

We are developing a Rosny Park Urban Design Framework to deliver a long-term strategic direction for the Rosny Park area. The project will provide greater opportunities for businesses and service providers as well as an improved amenity for everyone who visits and uses the area.

Project information

The study area includes the Rosny Park commercial area, the Rosny Barn complex and the Kangaroo Bay Rivulet.

This long range strategic plan will address a wide range of issues such as streetscaping including paving and landscaping, building form, growth opportunities for businesses and services, traffic management, car parking, heritage, pedestrian accessibility and personal safety as well as recreational and cultural activities. The recent upgrading of Bayfield Street is an example of the type of improvements the draft plan envisages.

Initial feedback was sought from interested community members, businesses, and service providers via an online survey covering a broad range of issues and the draft plan has drawn on that to help develop the urban design ideas it contains.
