Project Overview
We are developing a Rosny Park Urban Design Framework to deliver a long-term strategic direction for the Rosny Park area. The project will provide greater opportunities for businesses and service providers as well as improved amenity for everyone who visits and uses the area.
Project Information
The study area, which has been referred to as the 'Rosny Park Precinct', includes the Rosny Park commercial area, the Rosny Barn complex and the Rosny Park golf course.
This long range strategic plan will address a wide range of issues such as streetscaping including paving and landscaping, building form, growth opportunities for businesses and services, traffic management, car parking, heritage, pedestrian accessibility and personal safety as well as recreational and cultural activities. The recent upgrading of Bayfield Street is an example of the type of improvements the plan may coordinate.
Initial feedback has been sought from interested community members, businesses, and service providers via an online survey covering a broad range of issues.
