Access & Inclusion Plan Consultation

Consultation has concluded

Project Overview

Have your say on the development of Clarence City Council’s Access and Inclusion Plan 2020 – 2024.

The aim of this project is to:

  • Review council’s Access Plan 2014-2018, including progress made on identified actions;
  • Test if the key themes in this plan still apply;
  • Identify key drivers of future demand; and
  • Develop a five-year plan for 2020-2024 with and for the community with specific actions that are measurable, achievable, realistic and timely.

Project Information

Over the past 15 years, council has developed three access plans. All plans are developed with a five-year timeframe to ensure they are realistic and measurable.

Council’s Disability Access Advisory Committee plays a key role in the development, implementation, monitoring and review of these plans. The committee is made up of council representatives, residents and carers of people with disability from across the city.

We are keen to ensure there are meaningful avenues for as many people across the community to provide their thoughts and ideas for the next plan.
